The Iraqi Laser Scientists Journal, published by the Iraqi Laser Scientists Society, provides a global platform for high-quality research in laser science and its diverse applications. The journal covers all aspects of laser research and applications, with a broad, interdisciplinary focus.

Laser Physics and Engineering: Fundamentals of laser generation, nonlinear optics, ultrafast, fiber, semiconductor, and solid-state lasers.
- Medical and Biomedical Applications: Laser surgery (neurosurgery, ophthalmology, ENT, gynecology, urology), dentistry, dermatology and aesthetics, oncology (PDT, ablation, interstitial therapy), regenerative medicine and tissue engineering, ophthalmic procedures (LASIK, photocoagulation), diagnostic imaging (OCT, spectroscopy), and photobiomodulation (low-level laser therapy).
- Industrial and Engineering Applications: Cutting, welding, surface treatment, additive manufacturing, and material processing.
- Photonics and Optical Sciences: Photonic devices, fiber optics, spectroscopy, holography, quantum optics, and optical sensors.
- Environmental and Energy Applications: LIDAR, LIBS, combustion diagnostics, and renewable energy.

Frequency of Publication
The journal uses a continuous publication model: accepted articles are published online immediately after acceptance and proofreading, then compiled into regular volumes/issues for indexing and archiving.

Primary language: English. Abstracts may also be published in Arabic.
